Inhibits the activity of NK cells thus preventing cell lysis. Subunit: Homodimer; disulfide-linked. Subcellular Location: Membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Tissue Specificity: High, in T-lymphoma lines, very low in normal lymphocytes. Similarity: Contains 1 C-type lectin domain.
