background: Gibberillic acids (GA) are important plant growth hormones that promote plant cell growth and elongation. Gebberillins promote rapid stem and root growth, induce mitotic division and initiate (break dormancy) and increase seed germination rates. The gibberellins are also involved in processes such as gravitropism, tensioning and floral display. Gibberellin A3 (G1025, G7645) and A4 (G7276) may be used as supplements to plant growth media such as Murashige and Skoog media. The specific actions of A3 and A4 or combinations of Gebberellins should be determined in specific plant applications. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. 赤霉素最突出的生理效應(yīng)是促進(jìn)莖的伸長(zhǎng)和誘導(dǎo)長(zhǎng)日植物在短日條件下抽薹開(kāi)花。各種植物對(duì)赤霉素的敏感程度不同。遺傳上矮生的植物如矮生的玉米和豌豆對(duì)赤霉素最敏感,經(jīng)赤霉素處理后株型與非矮生的相似;非矮生植物則只有輕微的反應(yīng)。有些植物遺傳上矮生性的原因就是缺乏內(nèi)源赤霉素(另一些則不然)。赤霉素在種子發(fā)芽中起調(diào)節(jié)作用。許多禾谷類(lèi)植物例如大麥的種子中的淀粉,在發(fā)芽時(shí)迅速水解;如果把胚去掉,淀粉就不水解。用赤霉素處理無(wú)胚的種子,淀粉就又能水解,證明了赤霉素可以代替胚引起淀粉水解。赤霉素能代替紅光促進(jìn)光敏感植物萵苣種子的發(fā)芽和代替胡蘿卜開(kāi)花所需要的春化作用。赤霉素還能引起某些植物單性果實(shí)的形成。對(duì)某些植物,特別是無(wú)籽葡萄品種,在開(kāi)花時(shí)用赤霉素處理,可促進(jìn)無(wú)籽果實(shí)的發(fā)育。但對(duì)某些生理現(xiàn)象有時(shí)有抑制作用。 |
